As an example, I had an issue with my Subaru just yesterday, and I was trying to determine what the extra rattling was to see if it was a more serious issue. After a quick drive, an inspection, a repaired clamp, and a second drive (Luke's desire to always solve the real problem wouldn't let him not confirm that the issue was solved :) )...I was as good as new.
